About This Policy
Fashion Frame is a digital wardrobe, AI stylist, outfit-planning, and virtual try-on service available through our websites, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by FARIS KHALEEL AI, an establishment licensed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, who may process it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.
Fashion Frame is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old.
Information We Collect and Why
Account and technical information
We collect information needed to operate your account, including your email address, display name, username, profile image, login method, session and security records, IP address, device and browser information, app version, language, time zone, errors, and performance data.
Passwords are handled by our authentication service and are not stored in readable form. Application logs are designed not to contain complete AI prompts, responses, or images.
Profile, wardrobe, and planning information
You may provide optional information such as your country, gender, height, weight, body measurements, clothing and shoe sizes, fit and style preferences, colors, climate, and occasions. Measurements are entered by you; Fashion Frame does not currently estimate them from photographs.
We store the wardrobe items, clothing details, retailer or purchase information, notes, tags, outfits, wear history, planned dates, wishlist items, and AI-generated descriptions that you choose to save. Your wardrobe is never public; it is visible only to you until you accept a friend, and then only under the sharing settings described below.
Photos, conversations, and location
When you use image or AI features, we may process wardrobe photographs, profile or model photographs, try-on inputs and results, enhanced or background-removed images, external product images, chat messages, attachments, relevant conversation history, and generated responses.
If you enable weather features, we may store precise latitude and longitude coordinates and your time zone, then send the coordinates through our backend to Open-Meteo. Location is optional, and you may remove saved coordinates or deny location access.
Friends and closet sharing
If you add friends, we store your friend requests and friendships. Your profile — display name, handle, profile photograph, bio, style preferences, number of friends, and the month you joined — can be read by any signed-in Fashion Frame user who reaches your profile, not only by your friends. Your wardrobe, outfits, measurements, planning, and messages are never part of that profile.
Three settings control the rest, and all three are ON when your account is created: whether other people can find you in search, whether your friends can see your closet, and whether your friends can borrow your items for virtual try-on. You can change each of them at any time in Settings, and borrowing additionally requires closet visibility to be on. We describe them as on by default so that nobody has to discover it after accepting a friend request.
While your closet is visible, the people you have accepted as friends — and nobody else — can see the wardrobe items you have saved, including their photographs, names, categories, brands, and whether you marked them a favorite, together with the outfits you have built from them. Fashion Frame has no public feed, and none of this is visible to people you are not connected to.
Removing a friend or blocking an account ends that access at once: every request is checked against your current friendships and settings. Image links already issued to that person's device can, however, keep working until they expire, for up to 24 hours. Anything a friend already generated from your items, such as a try-on image, belongs to their account and stays there.
Friend messages
If you message a friend, we store the message text, any photographs you attach, and references to wardrobe items, outfits, or try-on results you share, so we can deliver them to both of you across devices. Friend messages are not end-to-end encrypted.
We do not routinely read your messages. Message content is accessed for moderation when a participant reports it, or where we are required to do so by law. A reported message is retained as a record of that report even if the sender later deletes it. Deleting your account deletes your conversations for both participants.
Communications and billing
We process information needed for verification, password reset, account and security notices, push notifications, support requests, subscription status, purchase platform, and billing administration. Payment providers process payment credentials; Fashion Frame does not receive full card details.
Purposes and legal grounds
We use this information to provide the Service, honor choices or consent for optional features, personalize your experience, communicate with you, enforce limits, prevent abuse, maintain security and reliability, comply with law, and handle legal claims.
As part of operating and improving the Service, we use website and in-product analytics by default to understand feature use, diagnose problems, and measure performance. Product analytics may be associated with a pseudonymous account identifier after sign-in; marketing-site analytics uses page, browser, device, and referral information. Our product-analytics provider captures interactions automatically and records session replays, and uses cookies or browser storage to do so; session replays may include displayed text, images, and information entered into ordinary form fields, while password fields are protected. On public marketing pages, Meta Pixel records PageView events to measure the performance of Fashion Frame advertising. It is not loaded in the authenticated app and does not receive private wardrobe, profile, or try-on images. We do not sell personal information.
Photos, AI, and Automated Features
Fashion Frame uses automated systems for stylist conversations, outfit recommendations, wardrobe analysis, image enhancement, and virtual try-on. Depending on the selected feature or provider, Google Gemini, Luma, or OpenAI may process relevant prompts, limited profile or wardrobe context, images, attachments, temporary signed image links, generated results, and pseudonymous technical identifiers.
We limit provider requests to what the feature needs and do not intentionally include your email address or direct account name in AI prompts. Provider handling and retention follow the applicable API terms, account settings, and legal obligations.
Fashion Frame does not currently train its own general-purpose AI model using private user photographs or stylist conversations. Some processing, including background removal, may run on Fashion Frame-controlled infrastructure using locally hosted software.
Fashion Frame does not currently use facial recognition, create facial-identification templates, or estimate your age, gender, or body measurements from photographs.
You must own or have permission to upload every photograph and other item of content. If another identifiable person appears, you are responsible for obtaining that person’s permission. Do not upload photographs of minors to AI-powered features.
Uploaded files may contain embedded metadata. We do not intentionally use it for styling or guarantee that every format has it removed.
Authorized personnel may access private information only for support, security, abuse investigations, technical diagnosis, or legal compliance.
International Processing and Security
Fashion Frame is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Our primary application infrastructure is hosted in Europe, and Cloudflare R2 application storage and encrypted database backups currently use a Western Europe location.
Our providers may process information in the United States, Europe, or other countries where they operate. Where required, we use contractual, technical, and organizational transfer safeguards.
Safeguards include HTTPS, private storage, time-limited image URLs, restricted and role-based access, secure mobile token storage, administrative audit logs, encrypted backups, and separated environments.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a qualifying personal-data breach occurs, we will investigate and notify affected users and competent authorities where required by law.
Retention and Deletion
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, enforce limits, prevent abuse, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Individual content
Deleted content disappears from your account immediately. Generated try-on result files are removed when you delete the corresponding result.
Limited conversation messages, try-on job records, and related technical information may remain in our database after you delete them so we can enforce usage limits, fraud, abuse, security, and disputes. They are excluded from normal account views and are removed when the account is deleted unless longer retention is legally required.
Anonymous first-touch visit records are deleted after 90 days. If you create an account during that period, the first-touch campaign fields are copied to your profile and kept with the account until you delete it, while the anonymous visit record still expires on schedule.
Some uploaded files, including chat attachments or reusable model photographs, may remain until you delete the account or separately replace or remove the relevant file.
Account deletion
When you delete your account, we remove the active authentication identity, application records, and user-owned files across our systems, subject to completing required billing cancellation and the limited exceptions below.
You may start deletion through the available account controls or contact [email protected]. We may ask you to verify control of the account.
For step-by-step instructions, see our account deletion page.
Logs, backups, and exceptions
Centralised operational logs are generally retained for approximately 14 days. Encrypted backups expire within 30 days, so deleted information may remain in a protected backup until that backup expires.
Limited billing, security, fraud-prevention, legal, administrative, and deletion-audit records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary. External providers may retain limited information under their own security, legal, and operational requirements.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable law, you may access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; withdraw consent; request a portable copy; ask about recipients or transfers; and complain to a competent authority.
You can edit many profile fields, preferences, and measurements in your account. You may also disable location or push notifications, request removal of saved coordinates, delete individual content, or delete your account.
To exercise a privacy right, contact [email protected] and describe the request and relevant account. We may request reasonable identity verification.
Requests are generally free unless they are manifestly excessive, repetitive, or subject to another lawful exception. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Age, Changes, and Contact
Age requirement
Fashion Frame is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. People under 18 may not create an account or use the Service, and users must not upload photographs of minors to AI-powered features.
If we learn that an underage person created an account or provided personal information, we may suspend or delete the account and remove the information.
Changes and language
We may update this policy as our Service, providers, obligations, or practices change. Material changes may be announced by email, in-app or website notice, or renewed acceptance where required.
This policy may be translated. If a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.
